The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (43-46) currently sit 5.5 games out of the last wildcard position in the American League, and 8 games back in the AL West. The Angels are 2-8 in their last 10 games, and GM Mike Lowe has made it known to teams that he is considering moving top-tier talent such as All-Star relievers Mike Morin and closer Aroldis Chapman, among others.
The entire Angels trade block has been posted here, and Lowe has stated that he’s open to prospects, but only guys who are at or are close to being MLB-ready. He also reiterated that none of these players must be moved, and that he’s only considering offers that would make the Angels better next year and beyond.
Other notable names on the trade block are OF Cole Calhoun, SP Drew Rucinski, MR Pedro Baez, MR Brett Cecil, 1B Albert Pujols, and 1B Rowdy Tellez.
