Ansah, Lions Overcome Disastrous 4th Quarter, Improve to 5-2

Matthew Stafford was on fire in the first half (18 of 19 for 210 yards and 2 TDs at one point), but threw 2 INTs in the second half to allow the Vikings to come back from a 21-0 nothing deficient. Stafford was also sacked 9 times for a now NFL-leading total of 40.

Trailing 21-18 with under a minute left in the game, and at the Lions 20 yard line, QB Teddy Bridgewater was sacked and fumbled the ball which was recovered by DE Ezekiel Ansah and returned 73 yards for a TD that sealed the victory for the Lions.

The Lions improve to 5-2, good for 2nd in the division and a current wildcard position, and rebound after a bad showing against the Vikings in Week 2 in Minneapolis, a game in which Adrian Peterson ran wild.
