Astros’ Brass Speak on Team Struggles

After being hired in early May, GM Danny Williams has dramatically changed the outlook of the Houston Astros.

After losing their ace Dallas Keuchel for nearly the season, Williams sought out to enhance the farm system even more. Graduating Carlos Correa and Preston Tucker, Williams added Michael Conforto, Franklin Barreto and Gavin Cecchini as well as a plethora of young arms through deadline trades.

Look for the Astros to be a threat in the near future. Because Cecchini is blocked by Correa, you can expect him to be in a package for a big league outfielder this offseason. Conforto will probably make his big league debut in September with roster expansions. Despite struggles of the Major league team, the Astros have a lot to look forward to in the 2016 season.

Crazy to see how different some teams are compared to real life. No one expected the Astros to have the sort of season they are having.
