Red Sox advance on tightest of sweeps

With scorelines of 5-4, 6-4 and last night 3-2 the Red Sox swept the Indians but each game could have been different, ultimately the Cleveland’s bullpen blowup cost them two of the games.

SSG Baseball announced Hanley Ramirez as series MVP after hitting .571. with one home run and driving in four.

In the other Divisional series the Yankees beat the A’s in the odd run in nineteen, a cliffhanger of a game. Oakland led 8-6 setting the stage for a late show from Carlos Beltran. A two run homer in the bottom of the ninth tied the game and two innings later his second homer of the night won the game for New York, a total of seven home runs in total hit in the game, Yankees now lead the series 2-1.
